Over 260 Duke Faculty attended the Town Hall Managing research grants during COVID-19 hosted by the Duke Office of Scientific Integrity on April 28 2020. Dr. Geeta Swamy, Associate Vice President for Research and Vice Dean for Scientific Integrity, Jim Luther, Associate Vice President for Research Cost Compliance and Federal Reimbursement, Laurianne Torres, Associate Dean for Research Administration in the School of Medicine, and Michelle Rigsbee, Assistant Vice Provost for Award Management ​​​​​​ discussed key issues surrounding current guidance from federal sponsors, reporting idle/inactive effort, and tools to help with managing research projects during COVID-19 epidemics. The event was moderated by Rebecca Brouwer, Director of Research Initiatives.
